In accordance with the decision of the Government of Nepal to provide passport delivery services to applicants at their registered home addresses through the postal service, the service has been implemented in Bardiya to make public services more accessible, convenient, and citizen-friendly.
As part of this initiative, the first-ever delivery of passports through the postal service has been successfully completed in Bardiya. On 2083/03/10 B.S., a total of two passports were delivered to the respective applicants through the District Postal Office, Bardiya — one to a service recipient residing in Bansgadhi Municipality–5, Bansgadhi, and another to a service recipient from Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality–2, Sitapur.
This initiative is expected to reduce the need for citizens to repeatedly visit the district headquarters for passport collection, saving their valuable time and expenses while ensuring more efficient and convenient public service delivery.
The District Administration Office, Bardiya remains committed to promoting technology-friendly and citizen-focused services and will continue its efforts to improve public service delivery and enhance citizens’ access to government services.
