Heartfelt Appeal for Financial Assistance

The District Administration Office, Bardiya, is deeply saddened by the unimaginable loss of lives and property caused by the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa District on Bhadra 10, 2083 B.S., which severely affected Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and other districts.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in this tragic disaster and pray for the departed souls to rest in peace. We also wish those injured a speedy and full recovery. We sincerely hope that those who remain out of contact will be found safe and reunited with their families and loved ones at the earliest.
It is well known that, in this difficult hour, the Government of Nepal has immediately initiated and continuously intensified search, rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas. Given the large number of people affected, there is an urgent need for additional resources and support to ensure their safe accommodation, immediate relief, and long-term rehabilitation.
In these challenging circumstances, with the objective of supporting the life-saving, relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction efforts for disaster-affected citizens, the Government of Nepal has called upon individuals and organizations to provide financial assistance to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund / Prime Minister's Relief Fund maintained at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Accordingly, the District Administration Office, Bardiya, earnestly appeals to all industrialists, businesspersons, organizations, civil society members, government employees, professionals, and residents of Bardiya District to extend financial support, according to their capacity, as an expression of humanitarian solidarity and social responsibility.
Even a small contribution can bring hope, comfort, and strength to those suffering in this time of crisis. Let us come together to support our fellow citizens affected by this disaster and stand with them in their time of greatest need.
